What's in their head?
First of all, let's just say it: fries rule for this age group. But fries aren’t all kids are looking for. They also want a whole lot of fun and to try new things. However, don't expect them to go crazy for every new item you present to them. While giving them new options from time to time keeps them interested, you have to be sure to deliver the foods they know. What’s more, even at this age, kids have an awareness of what’s good for them and they understand the need to eat better. (But keep the fries coming!)

What do they want?
If it can be dipped, odds are it's going to be a big hit with kids, because no group has more fun with their food. Ketchup is the condiment of choice, but don't be afraid to expand their horizons a little bit by offering honey mustard, barbecue sauce and ranch. And remember, smaller portions are more appropriate for this group.

What can you do for them?
Serving them fun, dippable items (like our Smiles®) is the way to go here. Keeping them happy with the familiar french fry is important, but don’t be afraid to introduce a new item or two from time to time to see what they'll go for.
